Who said that about infinity?

I was watching the show " Numb3rs" and it was the episode where some guy had a bomb and they found a picture of a little girl encrypted in another picture. Anyway, the bad guy had a tattoo of the infinity symbol on his hand and Charlie quoted some famous philosopher (Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, etc,...) about it. I remember really loving the quote but I don't remember the quote or the philosopher. Can you guys help me out? Even if you don't watch the show, you might know the quote, I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
