What are the choice of plants that can be attached to a tree?

i have one mango tree and one coral tree that are mature. live in tropical area. want to find plants that can be attached to those trees....orchids? what else? do they consume the food of the main trees?? or just use it to stick the root? where do those plants got the food from??
