This has nothing to do with the HDD. It is because the BIOS hasn't been set to boot from the HDD or the HDD is not bootable so it is trying to boot from a network. You are getting the media test failure message because I'm guessing you are not set up to boot from a network. (i.e. there is no network for it to boot from)
