I am 8 wks pregnant. i fell on my arm and the doc took x ray of it can that harm baby?

the doctor knew that i was pregnant and he took an x ray of my arm and told me that he was just going to cover me up... so they put this big blue thick thing on me... could the xray still hurt the baby... i am pretty scared dont want something to happen to the baby... will he come out normal... help
