Not in California. Speech contained in court pleadings is ordinarily exempt from libel and slander actions. However, if they write or say something that is not true to a third person and it causes you money damages you can sue and collect. Some speech is so abusive that actual damages are not necessary to win a judgment. It would be nice if you could prove these allegations and counter-sue to scare some sense into the plaintiff. It usually works.
