Help with LEGO Star Wars the video game on ps2?

So I am playing the first episode: the phantom menance at the level- invasion of naboo, once i p the part where you keep running straight along with your companions qui gon gin, obi one and the resident alien dude (me being one of them) trying to dodge all the droids and their tank (coming from the left side moving across to the right side of the screen) - destroying everything in their paths (mainly trees). After that I enter the cave sort of thing, after leaping over the various rocks and finding hidden holes and making myself all the way across as far as i can go to the right of the screen, I am stuck, what next? how do I get out of their, am I suppose to use the alien guys high jump to leap to another platform? double back?
