Any info on Clovis, CA?

So I've done some research and found that Fresno really isn't a very ideal place to live. I know that the city of Clovis is near northern Fresno. Does anyone know much about Clovis? Is it a good place to live? Bad place to live? Any information you may have is very much appreciated!! Thank you!!!
