The period between 4000 B.C. and 1500 B.C. was one of the most significant periods in history that revolutionized the world of early civilizations. At that time, there were many different civilizations in different parts of the world that got developed simultaneously and showed both similar and dissimilar features. Despite some of their differences throughout the history, many civilizations shared three common characteristics of life: writing system, economic structure, and social hierarchy system. Some early civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt, Indus Valley, and China respectively, used these three aspects of life as a foundation for development and further improvement of their societies.
