My clio keeps losing power when hot?

my clio keeps losing power when its been out for about and half hour 2 an hour when im driving the accelerator jus stops working so i have to switch the engine off an on whilst driving to get acceleration back i think the throttle body urgently needs a good clean its running ruff and acceleration is slightly delayed are these the affects of a very dirty throttle body?
