How do i transfer Hi8 tape to PC?

Well i have quite an old camera which uses Hi8 tapes for storage. And i want the video transferred to my PC. Unfortunately the camera only has a cable for video and audio output to the TV, nothing else. I'm aware of Pinnacle's Dazzle which i think would do the trick but i'm cheap :p So is there a way to transfer Hi8 tape video to my PC?
