Connection keeps dropping on new Toshiba laptop?

I bought a new laptop with Windows 7 64 Bit on it; and every minute or so the connection drops after successfully connecting. The same happens with ethernet and I'm out of ideas. I tried unchecking TCP IPv6; but that doesn't help. What can I do?
